Chris started his career in 2006 as a junior nurse in a busy small animal practice in northern NSW. He immediately gravitated to surgical nursing and diagnostic imaging. After 3 years he decided to locum from clinic to clinic to gain further knowledge and skills as a nurse. Venturing to Central Australia to locum at a large companion animal hospital he fell in love with the desert, and a 6 weeks Locum position turned into 5 years as the lead surgical nurse. In 2016 he packed everything up into his Hilux and went travelling around Australia for a year before landing on the sunshine coast. Chris joined the team at Noosa District Animal Hospital in 2017 before migrating to Maroochy District Animal Hospital to work with his favourite vet Dr. Alice.
Chris and his little Staffy ‘Pig’ are passionate about making sure our clients are properly looked after, and that everyone knows how obsessed we are about making sure their fur babies get the absolute best veterinary care, empathy and love. Just like Pig received when she was adopted by Chris 5 years ago.
